Fonix is promoted by a diversified education group. It is the brain child of the chief promoter of the group – Mr. Y Srinivas. The main objective behind launching Fonix is to provide vocational training leading to a career in the fast growing telecom field to all irrespective of their academic qualifications.

It is the strong belief of the promoters that the telecom field has the potential to create thousands of jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities. Due to lack of organized training people are not able to exploit the opportunities created by the industry. Fonix has the expertise, resources, infrastructure and people to deliver high quality industry oriented training.

Profile of Mr. Y Srinivas
Mr. Y Srinivas is a B Tech in electronics and communications engineering from Osmania College of Engineering and a MBA from Indian Institute of management, Ahmedabad. He started his career as a scientist in Defence Research and post MBA he worked in the IT industry in various capacities. After a significant stint in the corporate world he turned an entrepreneur with the primary focus of education and training. Teaching and career counselling are his passions.
